TWO LOVERS

Every so often
the two unite
amid pre-dawn shadows
for a lovers tryst.
Trembling they lie
under his pearlescent cloak
quietly content
iridescently aglow.
When there parades
the other….
in a fiery blaze
making her blush
for her wayward ways.
For fair maiden Morn
has lovers two,
the jealous sun
and the gentle moon.
